Today I celebrate you and invite you to do the same. To recognize that even in discomfort and uncertainty, there are ways to self-soothe and refresh. That sprinkled in anxiety, fear and discontent, we can discover happiness and joy, with intentionality.
Take a moment and notice something positive about yourself. A moment of patience, empathy for someone, an effort to learn something new, a willingness to shift perspective, a kind smile. Any small effort you may have exerted this week. Once you identify something, notice how it makes you feel. Sit with that and take three slow deep breaths.
Creating space to acknowledge the little moments and wins allows us to celebrate. When we are able to celebrate ourselves no matter how small the win, we shift our energy and thinking towards a different mindset. One where we can find hope, love and connection with people and situations we are living and experiencing.
These are choices we can all make and share. Think how powerful it would be if everyone you had any contact with today did the same. Imagine what a part of your day would feel like, if a collective positive wave was flowing in all interactions.
