Empower ourselves by having a strategy. Even a simple breathing ritual can allow space for reflection and calm. Perhaps it means stepping away and making no decisions for a bit. It is crucial to do what works for YOU.
Given each day brings new or conflicting information, we find ourselves in a constant state of flux. What are we willing to do, how can we keep ourselves and others safe, which direction does our work or businesses take? So many alternatives can cause anxiety and stress.
What is helping me navigate all of this is knowing we are all facing similar challenges and questions. By recognizing that what works for me may be different than what works for you, I feel less pressure. By doing what works for ME (my family & business) I am able to make short-term peace with my decisions. I am also able to quickly pivot or change my mind without (usually) judgement, whenever needed.
Today, embrace what works for you. What is in line with your needs. What does your partner, kids or team requires for physical and psychological safety. Stop comparing and over thinking and create a strategy to do what works.
